Digital Storm launches the new xm15 gaming notebook PC with NVIDIA’s Optimus technology. The notebook is equipped with a 1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT425M graphics card. With the Optimus technology, the machine can switch between the integrated Intel graphics, for less intensive operation, and the GT425M, for multimedia applications, automatically for optimum performance while maintaining battery life.
The $999 based configuration is powered by Core i5-520M processor, 4GB DDR3 memory, 320GB hard drive. If you are willing to pay more, you can get up to Core i7 CPU, 8GB memory and Blu-ray drive. The xm15 comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD 1080p LED-backlit display and offers HDMI and VGA output. It has eSATA and USB 3.0 ports for high-speed data transfer.
